Crue Fest 2 was such an incredible experience. We purchased LAWN seats five months ago to witness Crue in action with 6 friends. We decided to arrive an hour before doors open to fully immerse ourselves in the concert atmosphere. Skipping the first local opening on the second stage, we caught 16 Second Stare, who were decent. The second stage was almost too loud, but Charm City Devils impressed with their 70's rock band sound. Drowning Pool put on a great show, even though 37 stitches didn't please as much as expected. The closing song Bodies had everyone jumping around. Me and 2 friends sneaked up to the 25th row during Drowning Pool, skipping Cavo and Shram on the second stage. TOADM was a disappointment, lacking energy and not feeling right. Rev Theory on the Second Stage, however, brought so much energy, with the singer's veins popping as he screamed and yelled at the crowd. Godsmack was impressive, with the frontman controlling the crowd and participating in a double drum jam. Amigo The Devil had a cool intro, though not as cool as Crue Fest 1. The set list was great, playing all of the DR. FEELGOOD album before transitioning to the greatest hits list. The pyro didn't come until the greatest hits, but it was worth the wait. Crue put on an amazing show as expected, showcasing why they are so awesome.
